A name with two homes.

Say it aloud — Di Cannes. To a European ear it carries the glamour of the Riviera: the Croisette, the light off the Côte d'Azur, an easy Mediterranean elegance.

But the name was born somewhere quieter. Dikan is a village in Bingöl, in the east of Turkey — the place our family comes from. Spoken, the two names are nearly the same. So the name carries both: a small mountain village, and the sea.
